Every season Port Kembla Surf Life Saving Club leads with the one goal: ‘be better than the last’. This year PKSLSC is pleased to present a new blog. As the season kicks off new stories and updates will be published every second Wednesday. The issue will include: articles, interviews, sports achievements, surf reports and so much more! As our season progresses so will our blog, bringing exciting stories as we go!
It has been 4 months since the red and yellow flags were lowered for the last time of the 2024-25 surf club season. Throughout the season lifesavers responded to a range of situations from minor first aids to rescues in challenging surf conditions. The true commitment, strength and teamwork of the lifesavers were reflected in such a positive season.
As the water temperature warms and the days get longer, it seems the 2025-26 season is just around the corner. Registrations for next season are not far off so keep an eye out for information regarding this.
Port Kembla Surf Life Saving Club is delighted to welcome two new Junior Representatives to the team. They will speak to the senior club on behalf of the junior club members as well as organising fun events and so much more!
This season's lifesavers will be coached by our wonderful trainers Lucy Landon and Ian Graham.
Registration for both the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) and Bronze Medallion courses are still open and will be run soon.

The Nippers committee is getting excited as registration is open for the coming season and is expected to close on the 17th of August. Uniforms can be purchased at the Nippers Uniform Shop on the website. They are also looking for surf club members to help with water safety for the Nippers on Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 11:00. They will help to ensure the Nippers are safe and having fun in the water!
